Beehive Hairstyles
I was learning about polygons in Maths. We looked at six sided polygons which are called hexagons and how these are the building unit on beehives.
This briefly side tracked us onto beehive hairstyles and how to create beehive hairstyles...
So we quickly looked into it:
Here are a couple of youtubes that show you various different ways to do a beehive type hairstyle:
This next style is not a beehive but it is a beautiful way to do long hair. They do this using an extention piece but I want to try this because my hair is naturally really long and I think this style looks awesome:

"90% of all foaming product's contain SLS, hence the rise in dry skin conditions like eczema / psoriasis / dandruff. Sodium Lauryl Sulphate is an inexpensive foaming agent used in its raw form to clean oil from car engines!! We DO NOT put SLS into any of our product's. Look in your bathroom at the labels on bottles and let me know how many products you have with this chemical nasty in it!
Sodium Lauryl Sulphate - can cause contact allergies, skin irritation and potentially damage the cornea if it comes into contact with the eyes. It also dissolves the protective oily layer of the skin, which can cause skin dryness. SLS readily enters the heart, lungs, liver and brain via skin contact, where residual levels are stored. a penetration enhancer."

Yoga: Salute to the Sun or Surya Namaskara
This past week I have been doing a yoga ritual that my mom show me and it is called salute to the sun.
I think that it is a good exercise and helps to stretch your muscles very well.
I like it.

"When it comes to styles, there is always an enormous amount of excitement in seeing just what the New Year will offer….especially from the perspective of the top designers and clothing manufacturers."
When to start wearing Makeup: for parents about their daughters ...

"I will never forget that day. My bright, beautiful 13 year old daughter bounced into my room and sidled up to me, unable to conceal that gleam in her eye. She could barely contain herself (she has always been a very happy, bubbly, smiley girl) as she whispered, "Mom, I want to start wearing makeup.

How to Stop Biting Your Nails...
Did you know: There are approx. 600 million nail biters world wide! Both adults and children bite their nails for various reasons.
Now I don't feel so bad. Nail biting is a habit difficult to stop.
Nail biting can be a result of bordom, feeling nervous or suffering from stress / anxiety.
If you are sick of biting your nails, here are some tips:
- Use a bitter nail polish as discouragement
- Alternatively you can try and stop biting one nail at a time. Tell yourself you are protecting ..... nail this week and refuse to bite it.
- Eat foods that are rich in calcium and magnesium
- Take a photo of your nails and stick it up in a prominent place to remind yourself. Take a photo each week and add it. Then you can be inspired by your progress or non-progress. Make a poster of a whole lot of really terrible bitten finger nails and put it up next to your mirror or computer to remind you. This will definately put you off.
- Don't start another bad habit to try and stop biting your nails. Some people suggest chewing a toothpick or something else. This is not a good idea.
- Try to find the real reason why you are biting your nails: bored/nervous/hungry/thinking/fiddling and then find a way to treat the cause not only the symptom. There is something you can use like a stress ball or worry beads to keep your hands occupied or drumming your fingers but dont let it become obsessive.
